Position: Assistant General Manager (Future Hotel Operations Manager)

About Gudauri Lodge
Key Responsibilities:
** Support the General Manager in daily operations, planning, and operational decision-making.
** Assist in coordinating day-to-day hotel operations across all departments.
** Act as the General Manager`s on-site representative when required.
** Maintain a visible presence in guest areas to monitor service quality and support effective service recovery.
** Identify operational gaps and support the implementation of improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
** Ensure compliance with hotel standards, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
** Participate in daily briefings, prepare operational reports, and follow up on action items.
** Analyze guest feedback, online reviews, and operational data; provide guidance to teams to improve service quality.
** Support department heads in managing guest issues, feedback, and operational challenges.
** Assist in coordinating operations during peak periods, high occupancy, and special events.
** Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work culture across all departments
Who You Are:
** A passionate hospitality professional with a strong interest in hotel operations and leadership.
** Energetic, enthusiastic, and ready to grow into a Hotel Operations Manager role.
** Detail-oriented, with the ability to notice small operational gaps and turn them into improvements.
** Strongly focused on guest satisfaction and continuous service improvement.
** Comfortable analyzing guest feedback and translating insights into practical actions.
** A proactive team player with emerging leadership skills and a hands-on mindset
Requirements:
** Previous experience in hotel operations or a supervisory/assistant management role.
** Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
** Proficiency in Opera PMS
** Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
** Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal hospitality environment.
Career Progression:
This position is intended to begin as Assistant General Manager, with a planned promotion to Hotel Operations Manager before the start of the new season, based on performance and readiness.
